WELCOME
We are the Anderson Art Collaborative
Our main objective is to bring a positive presence into Anderson and the surrounding areas to encourage art, community, friendship and wellness.
One way we do that is through Collaborative Projects
Our next big goal is to raise funds to have a physical space in Anderson Township for our community to connect through art and events that invites ALL to participate,
regardless of age, gender, race or artistic ability.

Our First Fourth of July Parade Float
Our goal for this float was to showcase our desire for an Art Center in Anderson by using art supplies and mediums of the arts to build our "building". This was a first of its kind project for our group and the creativity and collaboration that took place was FUN and ENERGIZING. We hope our final product really "WOW"ed our community!
Float Building Process
It started with an idea that required collecting a lot of boxes and random materials! Then we had to figure out where to build it... so our founder Nancy Fuller willingly allowed us to use her basement for weeks. We then had to make sure our "building" could fit through a standard door! Once we got our general structure in place, it was time for some collaborative magic! We painted, cut boards, glued, bracketed, made paper flowers, built giant yarn balls, paper mache'd, blew up balloons, covered our base with turf, got fancy with foil fringe and so much more. We had blast along the way and are BEYOND THANKFUL for all of our members who took the time to make this dream come to life. A special callout must be made though as none of this would have happened without the direction of our Collaborative Director, Diane Janicki!
